Eurofins Genoma Laboratory is certified UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 and regularly participates in external quality controls entrusted to nationally and internationally recognized institutions.
Eurofins Genoma Laboratory has also obtained, for its Milan headquarters, accreditation from the Italian accreditation body ACCREDIA for the UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 scheme for Forensic Genetics testing, further demonstrating that the laboratory ensures the highest quality standard.
Eurofins Genoma Laboratory has been accredited as a SMeL (Laboratory Medicine Services) by the Lombardy Region since 2018. Accreditation to the regional health service is a fundamental step towards improving the quality of care and ensures the protection of citizens through the verification of requirements on organizational appropriateness, prescribing appropriateness, and the quality of analytical production.
Like every accredited SMeL, Eurofins Genoma utilizes Internal Quality Control (IQC) systems and implements External Quality Assessment (EQA) programs.
The entire analytical process is subject to constant control by specialized operators and internal procedures that allow constant traceability of the analyzed samples.
Thanks to the aforementioned organizational model, Eurofins Genoma is continuously improving to always provide a high-profile service.
