PRE-ANALYTICS

Sample collection and preservation, labeling, and shipping.

To enhance the quality of services offered and ensure the effectiveness of analytical results, it is essential to focus on the pre-analytical phase, which, as is well known, accounts for 60-70% of sample non-conformity issues. With the goal of minimizing these inconveniences, we have developed specific "Collection Instructions" for various categories of tests.

These guidelines have been meticulously developed to assist you in:

1

Making a correct test request

2

Selecting the appropriate biological matrix for the collection

3

Using the most appropriate sampling device

4

Ensuring the correct preservation and transportation of the sample

We recognize the importance of collaboration between you, as clinicians or requesting laboratories, and Eurofins Genoma, which is committed to providing impeccable service for the well-being of the patient.

We invite you to consult and download the following instructions, so you can always have them available for any need.

  • Label the tube specifying:

The patient and test identification label must be affixed vertically, as indicated on the first tube with the green checkmark, avoiding labels placed horizontally, folded, or partially overlapping.
